Flight Coffee Rwanda - Shyira - Washed

Shyira Coffee Washing Station is located in Nyabihu District, the highest and coldest coffee growing region in Rwanda. Coffee cherries are sourced from high altitude farms, making Shyira one the most challenging yet rewarding origins in the country for specialty coffee production.

Nyabihu District experiences the coldest temperatures and heaviest rainfall in Rwanda, resulting in slower cherry maturation and longer drying times. The volcanic soil also enhances the bean density and flavour complexity.
